International co-operation presents one of the most important activities of the Faculty. The Faculty policy is oriented:
  • towards creating conditions for co-operation in science and technology with the centers in Europe and USA,
  • to increase the number and quality of the international research and educational projects,
  • to support the mobility of the staff members to foreign institutions,
  • towards acceptance the university teachers at the faculty for a certain teaching period,
  • to increase the number of international students studying at the Faculty.
The research activity is implemented mostly by projects. The most important projects are the international projects for science and applied science, including the education-support projects of European Union. Besides the funding, these research activities are a chance to get the pedagogical and scientific knowledge, hence they will be followed in the next time.

Except of co-operation with the partners' faculties in framework of Technical University's contracts there are several signed contracts with the company and faculties of the following universities: University of Oradea (Romania), Politechnika Czestochowska (Poland), Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany), MEDAV Uttenreuth (Germany), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University, Prague (Czech Republic), Technical University of Budapest (Hungary), Universite Jean Monnet de Saint-Etienne (France).
