List of documents needed for Residence permit application abroad:
- Passport,
- Application form for residence permit,
- 2 passport sized photos (3,5x4,5 cm),
- Bank declaration - the minimum balance on the bank account must be €2400,
- Police clearance certificate with apostille - if a police authority confirms integrity only for a given area within country (city, state, etc), an applicant must provide also Declaration of integrity with apostille,
- Final letter from the Faculty,
- Confirmation of tuition fees payment.

All documents must be translated by a sworn translator to Slovak language. Documents may be max. 90 days old on the day of submission at the Embassy.
If a minor student applies for a residence permit, his parents must be present at the Embassy in order to sign a RP form in front of the Slovak counselor.
